NEW REPORT! Research Report Examines Latino Parent Involvement
A literature review of Latino Parent Involvement in K-12 Education, researched and authored by Barri Tinkler, a graduate student at the University of Denver, is now available through ACY. The research project is a companion piece to Assets for Colorado Youth's "Expect Success Project," in which ACY is taking the asset framework into 5 low-achieving Denver Public Schools to improve parent engagement and school climate.

The Power of Parents: Parent Engagement in Schools and the Developmental Assets

La Lotería (Assets Bingo)
Our La Lotería is a take-off on a popular Mexican bingo game with an asset twist: players mark off the assets as they are called. Fun, four-color pictures illustrate each asset on the playing cards and 8 1/2 x 11-inch game boards. Every asset card has a suggested idea or activity for building the asset in young people.
